New Author Announcement and Joseph Flynn Update

Good day everyone!



I'd like to introduce Jeffrey Stephens, our newest addition. Jeff brought with him TARGETS OF DECEPTION (previously titled The Portofino Deception), which received critical acclaim from authors like Vince Flynn, Robert K. Tanenbaum, and Steve Alten. A terrorist tale of not knowing who you can trust, TARGETS OF DECEPTION is a fast-paced thriller that moves from one suspenseful action scene to the next in a contemporary story of the real and present perils of the modern world. Unfortunately, when it was first released it did not receive all of the attention it deserved from it's original publisher, so with a little TLC we hope this will become the series it deserves to be! In the near future we will post some sample chapters on the site, so keep your eyes open for the opportunity on the newly improved title from Stephens.

In blog news, Joseph Flynn has started a blog (which you may have seen posted to the right in the 'Author Blogs/Newsletter' section), Hip Pocket Thoughts, to what I can only describe as wow! It's a definite must-see for those of you who enjoy the author's work (including his newest The President's Henchman)... and a great way to get introduced to him if you aren't familiar with him. I've enjoyed his no-pulling-punches approach - I may not always agree with what he has to say, but at least he has an opinion that can constructively be put to use to help this great American nation which is going through some rough spots. Hello VZ's!

Do any of you inhabit the lovely pages of Goodreads.com? Well, if you do, we just made a Variance Goodreads profile and would love for you to add us to your friends! It's still a "work in progress", but isn't everything? =)>

Also, for those of you who are new, please send us a friend invite on Myspace.com. I've done some changes to our profile page and would love for you to check it out!

In author news, Jeremy Robinson's Kronos is on the move at Amazon - it's been hovering around 1000. Congrats to Jeremy! This is due, in part, with the help of Steve Alten's Newsletter sent out this month with a spot on Kronos. Way to help another author out, Steve (no one can say that he's not a stand up guy!). If Steve recommends it, you know the book is a hot ticket in the industry. Check out both Kronos and MEG: Hell's Aquarium for samples.

If you are an AJ Tata fan, and receive the Harvard Kennedy School magazine, keep your eyes focused on the Alumni Books section for a Sudden Threat book spot!
