AJ Tata Back On Fox, KRONOS Gets Reviewed, Artwork

Happy new-week, everyone!

Mondays have been great days over the past few posts. This time around there are 3 great things to share with you and hopefully you take the time to check them out.

First, AJ Tata, author of ROGUE THREAT, was back on FOX 5 DC talking about Iraq and Afghanistan on an interview aired on Friday. Thanks to all the troops who lay their lives on the lines everyday for our safety! Our thoughts and prayers go out to our fallen heroes.

It was a great interview with the retired general. Many thanks to Fox 5.

Second, I came across a review today about Jeremy Robinson's, KRONOS. Though it wasn't on a read-edition of the book, it was on the podcast version he had made up and released at the same time as the paperback and Kindle editions. If you haven't read this book, or if you are an book-on-audio person, be sure to head over to Lone Wolf Sage Co and check it out. They have all the info you need to get to the audio version of the book.

Last but not least, check out the cover going to Advanced Reader Copy printing for The CHRONICLES OF ANAEDOR - The Prophecies, by Kristina Schram:

and the placeholder image for David Sakmyster's The MORPHEUS INITIATIVE, due out this July:

Thanks for reading and viewing! We would love to hear what you think, post a comment here or your review of any of the books discussed today. Talk to you soon.

Amazing Weekend In Review

Good Monday, everyone!

I hope those of you who celebrate Valentine's Day had a wonderful day, and to those who get President's Day off, that you are enjoying your holiday. There were a few authors who may not celebrate either, but had a ravishing weekend to make up for it.

AJ Tata, author of the THREAT series, was a busy man on Friday. He spent the day in Colorado on TV shows and at a book signing for his latest novel ROGUE THREAT. He started his day at FOX 21, where a portion of the interview has been posted at their website. They have also done a short write-up at another spot at the same site. Later that night we went on to have a successful discussion and book signing at the local Barnes and Noble. Also happening this weekend, the Washington Post did an article on Tony, explaining his past Army experiences, his present position as Chief Operations Officer of the D.C. public school system, and a bit on the books and how since SUDDEN THREAT the proceeds have been going to a very worth-while cause. This is certainly a must-read article for those who want to do bigger and better things for themselves - very inspiring. Thanks to Fox, BN, and the Washington Post for the time and effort!

The next great news announced this weekend is that Jeffrey Stephens is having another signing in his home state of Connecticut at the Stamford Barnes and Noble (100 Greyrock Pl.). It is scheduled for this Thursday (Feb. 18) and will start at 6pm. TARGETS OF DECEPTION has been a great hit on the Kindle market and is continuing its steady sales and positive reviews. He is very excited to be back home and we hope that you join him for what looks to be another great night. This book is certainly a crazy thrill-ride and is a great addition to your library (especially signed!).

Lastly, if you have been enjoying the Steven Savile Blog Train, more entries should be popping up this week while promoting SILVER, so keep your eyes open. He just finished up a doozie of a posting at 5k words! Man that boy can talk... glad it's all good stuff =)>.

Ok, so, thanks as always for tuning in. I hope you enjoy today's content. If you have any content of your own to post, say a review or two, please comment and let us know what you think of what you've read from us. Have a great week!

AJ Tata and Palin at Walter Reed, Silver Showcased at The Chronic Rift

What a great Thursday it has been so far for two authors at Variance!

AJ Tata is back at it again posting with Big Government in a must-read article that gives hope to an ever-polarized America. Whether you are a Donkey, Elephant, or one of the many independents, showing support for the men and women of our armed forces is a necessity! They defend you, me, and our children from those who which to do us harm and put themselves in the way of the 'perpetual bullet' aimed at all of us daily. As Tony proves in his article, from Sarah Palin, to Jon Stewart, Bruce Springsteen to Jason "Wee-Man" Acuna, can come together and split their differences in political opinion and agenda to support those who spend their day working hard to get better after sustaining injuries at Walter Reed Medical Hospital. His article even made it on the Sarah Palin blog, congrats! I hope you take the time to read it, it's a great piece.

In a related topic, if you missed yesterday's posted interview with Jeffrey Stephens, be sure to check it out as part of the topics hit included a unified America in these polarized times and how important it is we stay unified though we have differences in politics.

Lastly, Steven Savile's SILVER was showcased in a Podcast at The Chronic Rift. You can download the mp3 but is beefy at 80+MB - don't let that stop you though - it is a very worth-while download. It is sci-fi based content, so for all you comic book fans, Star Trekies and the like, this will be a place you spend a bunch of time at! If you want to just get to the SILVER review, fast-forward to 29:30 and listen from there. Thanks so much to The Chronic Rift team, especially Andrea, for taking the time to read and review.

And thanks so much to you for reading and listening! I hope you enjoy the content.

Happy Wednesday fans,

I hope those of you who are getting ransacked with snow again are safe and warm. To pass some of that time, we have a few interviews you may be interested in listening to.

The first is with Jeffrey Stephens on Paranormal Palace Radio, a great interview that you can download or play here. In it, Jeff touches on his charity donation from the book proceeds, name changes to 'protect the guilty', and stories corresponding to the core of the story (along with a Mark Harmon as Jordan Sandor movie spot?). Check it out!

The next plays tonight with AJ Tata at KBYR Radio out of Alaska. The interview will take place at 8pm EST (4pm local), so be sure to listen in as I'm sure hot topics will be covered including military and political affairs.

Targets Of Deception has Created A Stir, Threat Series Home

Good Monday everyone,

I hope you had a restful weekend and are ready for this weeks action. I'd like to start out by first talking about Jeffrey Stephens novel, TARGETS OF DECEPTION, then go onto AJ Tata's THREAT series.

Jeff has been hard at work promoting his post-9/11 terror thriller and the work continues to pay off. This time he can be found both in the pages of Accent on Tampa Bay magazine, as well as on their website! Congrats to you, Jeff! See the posting below, and to see the entire magazine, click the link above. Don't forget, he will be on Paranormal Palace Radio tomorrow, that should be a great interview. Lastly, a new development has come to light regarding Jeff, his book, and the royalties involved. He is donating much of his royalties to an organization that supports the children of fallen special ops agents. Kudos to you in assisting such a worthy cause! For the full press release, visit EducationNews.org.

Next, AJ Tata has found new home, this time at TheThirdOption.net, a site devoted to 'The World of Vince Flynn'. Thanks to FlynnFann and the rest of the folks for giving the THREAT series a try. If you would like to see more on AJ, you can visit our website, along with YouTube where we have some videos of him being interviewed. You can also visit his site at AJTata.com. Oh, and for you Tata fans, he will be in Colorado Springs, CO this Friday (February 12) at Barnes and Noble for a discussion session and book signing of ROGUE THREAT AT 7:30. We hope to see you there!

Jeffrey Stephens Steps It Up, More Praise For TOD

Happy Groundhog's Day all,

What a classic movie - Bill Murray reliving the same day over and over while trying to figure out how to make his life better than 'yesterday's-today'. In any sense, the rodent saw its shadow so here is to more winter locked up behind closed doors reading great books and online material!

Jeffrey Stephens has decided to start a blog and the first post was a great kick-off to what should be a place to spend your time wisely. This post is for those of you who always say 'Someday I'll write mine'. Jeff has many great stories, whether made up in his head or borne on the streets of NYC, so he hopes you join him in the blogosphere.

In closing, The San Francisco Book Review did a piece on TARGETS OF DECEPTION, and called it an 'excellent read'. Thanks to the folks at 1776 Productions for taking the time to read and review!
