Mid-week finds us again, and more great news is here to share!
TARGETS OF DECEPTION can be found on Smashwords. This has been one of our best-selling titles on Kindle, so I hope those of you who were looking for this on something other than the Amazon e-reader head over to get your copy today in the many different formats available. What would you like to see next from us? Silver? The Threat series? Something else? Your votes run our supply!
AJ Tata was invited back to The O'Reilly Factor, this time to talk about the Rolling Stone article causing all the hubbub in regards to Gen. McChrystal. Titled Runaway General, the article was quite a damaging piece of work and Tata tries to cut through fog and gets to the bottom line. Tony held his ground with leading comments, but Bill called him a 'stand-up guy', I'd say it went well. All you military folks, we'd love to hear from you on what you think about what is going on. Be sure to leave your opinions in the comment area.
Thanks as always for your readership. Talk soon.

Tata Weighs In On McChrystal, Petraeus
Hey folks,
As you are well aware of by this point, our very own Brigadier General (ret.) AJ Tata has become a guest on many news shows, not only for his Threat series, but also for his expertise in the day-to-day works of the War On Terror. With that said, he has made a few appearances on some pretty major shows the past few days in regards to Gen. McChrystal resigning from his role and Gen. Petraeus taking the command.
As always, Tony does a great job of stating the facts! Looking forward to seeing your more around the nation.
We wish Gen. McChrystal the very best of luck--he will be missed. Best wishes also to Gen. Petraeus: in a war where civilians only hear failure, continued success in all of your movements... and bring our friends and family home safe.

Review, News, and Smashwords... Oh My!
Happy Wednesday all,
The week is quickly reaching its end, but we're not going to let it reach Friday without a few great updates for you to fill your weekend thoughts with.
First, a new review of ROGUE THREAT has appeared. Thanks to the reviewer at the Priscilla Chancellor blog for taking the time to read ROGUE (and also SUDDEN THREAT, which he also liked). The blog post, titled "Lightning in a Bottle", is a must see:
Next, as ThrillerFest 2010 draws near, we would love to hear who of you will be there. We would love to meet our readers in person if that is possible, shake your hand, and thank you for your loyalty. TF is a great event and not only opens doors for writers to get agents and learn more about their craft, but also helps to make long-term connections with the mentors who have gone through it and are willing to do what they can for those honest bunch who are working hard at accomplishing their goals.
Lastly, for those of you who don't have a Kindle but still want to read our e-books, we have started utilizing Smashwords! We hope you take advantage of all of the formats available to you to get reading on some great fiction that you may not have been able to before but were looking forward to. WIRED KINGDOM is live with EUROSTORM nearly complete, and from there we will upload a steady stream of our best-selling titles. Keep checking back for updates on what is available through our Smashwords library.
As always, thanks for reading! Looking forward to your comments.

"Mr. Tata has done it again. Rarely are follow up books as good or better than the previous one but, after reading SUDDEN THREAT, I decide to read ROGUE THREAT. I can honestly say it was just as good, or better, if that’s possible. SUDDEN THREAT has developed quite a reputation as an excellent book, so again I was was up “just to finish another chapter” most of the night, while reading ROGUE THREAT. If you enjoy Brad Thor (Scott Harvath), Vince Flynn (Mitch Rapp), Clancy (John Clark), Alex Berenson (John Wells) or you just want to read a great book. Then give ROGUE THREAT a try, you won’t be disappointed."Be sure to stop by the blog to read more great reviews.

If you are a fan of Savile's writing style, you won't be disappointed with this grim tale. And hey, for $.99, what do you have to lose? Want to know what it's about?
Gabriel Rush takes a photograph of a beautiful sad-faced hooker in a down town bar and is stunned by what he sees when the picture is developed. At first he thinks it is a flaw in the photograph, but then he recognizes it for what it is, the mark of the Trinity Killer. It is the same mark that scars the faces of mutilated corpses that are turning up all over New York City.Be sure to read on... Steve has a treat for you:
Racing to warn the woman, Gabriel instead finds himself haunted by visions and fighting against time to save his future, the woman he loves, his friends, and - when the killer's identity is finally revealed - his own sanity.
"Now, for everyone who buys a copy and provides their kindle receipt I am going to offer a FREE OGMIOS story which I'll ship out on my birthday (12th October) as my present to all of my readers... it'll directly link in to Gold and Silver, but will be self contained."Not only do you get a fantastic story for a buck, but you get a free short to keep you connected for when GOLD comes out early next year! Remember to review it when you are done, and spread the word.
Thanks, as always, fans. Oh, and if you haven't read SILVER yet, be sure to stop by the Grassroots page and pick it up for 1/2 price.

Input From You, Our Readers
Hey all,
I'm looking to get a little info from you on a few questions to better serve our fans. As year two is in full swing, we want to make sure that we keep up with your needs so your honest opinions would be greatly appreciated. Let's begin:
1. How do you figure out what your next book purchase will be? Is it driven by word of mouth? The cover? The price? The blurbs? The format (hard vs. paperback vs. e-book)? Where it is found? A combination of the bunch, or something else?
2. What thriller style is at the top of your list right now? Creature? Techno-thriller? Action-adventure? Combo or other?
3. Do you enjoy and/or seek out video book trailers?
4. Any other input you think would be beneficial to serve you better?
Thanks so much! We look forward to better serving our readers. Have a great weekend, take care.

Silver returns to the net with a smashing review at Edi's Book Lighthouse. In short, it goes a little something like this:
Rogue Threat also returns to the blogosphere with a post from the folks at La Vendrama. It wasn't a long review, so I will post it all here:
Thanks to all of you who take the time to post reviews! If you would like to see your review make our blog, be sure to leave your link in the comments section and we will get it posted.
The week continued from there with more great content! Rick Chesler had a fun interview with the folks of The Eerie Digest. Jeffrey Stephens wrote up a new blog post, E-commerce and the Modern Novel, which was a very interesting take on what is going on in the industry and some food-for-thought. From there, a book review site, Dad of Divas, wrote up a great review of TARGETS OF DECEPTION, here is an excerpt:
Thanks to DoD for taking the time to read and review!

Reviews and Interviews:
Silver returns to the net with a smashing review at Edi's Book Lighthouse. In short, it goes a little something like this:
"Go, Buy, Read and Enjoy an intelligent, peppered with action, gripping roller coaster thriller full of twists, turns and surprises, populated with heroes who are more 3D than Avatar and who deserve your esteem and sympathy."
Rogue Threat also returns to the blogosphere with a post from the folks at La Vendrama. It wasn't a long review, so I will post it all here:
"I recently finished both of A.J. Tata’s books and found it impossible to put them down. The combination of the hidden plots, technical accuracy and continuous flow of action and intrigue make both books remarkable. I look forward to the September release of Hidden Threat. I am sure it will not disappoint. If you were even thinking about purchasing a good thriller, A.J. Tata is the writer for you."
