The End is Upon Us...

That's right folks, 2010 is nearing its closure. With 5 days left until Christmas, and a week later to New Year's Eve, the pages of MMX are now fluttering past with a fury. There still is time though to read up on some new goodness coming from the last few leaves of this chapter labeled Variance... which of course will pull on your heartstrings to buy your loved-ones (including yourself) some great fiction to round out the year.

First, GRIM REAPER: End of Days was reviewed via Black Lagoon Reviews. Another 4 of 5 'scars' lined up for the 10th book of Steve Alten's career. A few lines to whet your whistle:
"I am at a loss of words on how to even begin this review other then by saying that this novel was scary as Hell! Grim Reaper: End of Days by Steve Alten is the debut novel in a new series that perfectly mixes fact and fiction until all the lines are blurred making it impossible to decipher the actual truth.

"In the end I found this novel to be thought evoking and horrific, definitely not for the light hearted. It is dark and makes the reader look long and hard at the world around them. With political and religious overtones, this novel is terrifyingly plausible."
Many thanks to Wenj for an taking the time to read and honestly review this beast of literature.

Next, all you AJ Tata THREAT Series fans take note: the print version is on its way, but the e-version is out now! Available on Amazon and Smashwords (which houses versions for Nook, Sony, Kobo, Diesel, and Apple products), we hope you partake of the goodness titled HIDDEN THREAT (ISBN: 1935142178) before getting your copy of the hardcover which should be available in late January! AND, for spreading the word via Twitter, you will get thrown into the pot to win your copy of the e-title. Just tweet:

Legends Alive In Many Ways

Good day friends, today's post is multi-faceted, but legendary.

Starting with Steven Savile's short story ripped from GOLD (follow-up to SILVER, stated to be the "best thing since Forsythe's 'Day of the Jackal'"), you can now find GHOSTKILLER on Smashwords for free. So, if you never emailed the ogmiosteam@gmail.com address for your copy, head over now to get a look into the broken legend of Noah Larkin.

Next, on the 30th anniversary of the assassination of John Lennon, Steve Alten and Variance would like for you to check out an excerpt from GRIM REAPER: End of Days, where Lennon plays a roll in the transformation of one of the book's characters. We hope you enjoy the capturing of this legendary figure in the pages of "one of the best books you will read... period."

And lastly, a legend in the making, our friends at UN:Bound have started their Video Editions project where they interview a handful of big wigs, have some humour (like the spelling?) and create and overall pleasing video blog. Check it out:

Thanks for reading, viewing, and commenting. Enjoy the rest of your week!
